Natalie his assistant who was also very nice and sweet offered me a blanket if I was cold. The next day which was a Saturday, they called to see how I was doing. I would definitely go back if I ever needed another procedure. My experience was great!"
"I’m so pleased to recommend Brookwood Endodontics. This practice is definitely patient-centered. Scheduling was absolutely for my convenience. Dr. Adam Powell very quickly diagnosed my problem and skillfully performed the necessary procedure. He is so smart, yet down-to-earth, able to explain procedures and give instructions very clearly. Taylor, his assistant, was concerned with my comfort from start to finish, offering a blanket and/or pillow and then monitoring throughout the procedure. At checkout they gave me a card for a free smoothie, a welcome gift since I couldn’t chew! And then Melissa called me the next day (Saturday) to see how I was feeling. Perhaps the best review, however, is that the pain I have felt for the past several months is gone! Should the need arise, I will not hesitate to return to Brookwood Endodontics."

"I found the entire experience to be excellent.Communication regarding my appointment and insurance coverage amounts were stipulated prior to my appointment. All registration information was distributed by text and included preregistration forms online.The facility is comfortable and clean.The staff was friendly and Dr. Powell who conducted the procedure was upbeat, friendly and had a great bedside manner.The procedure was completed in a timely manner and I received a welfare check from their office on Saturday morning which is pretty unique and worthy of merit by today’s standards.In summary, I highly recommend Brookwod Endodontics, 5 out 5!"

"I came in nervous for my first root canal but immediately upon getting called back after a short wait, the assistant Taylor was super sweet and very reassuring that it wouldn't be too bad. Dr. Powell was wonderful and seemed very well versed in dental care for pregnant women which put my mind at ease. The entire procedure was super quick, everyone was super friendly, I was never left alone for a long period of time, and I truly didn't feel a thing, even when receiving the numbing shots! I felt the price was very reasonable after insurance and even got a free smoothie afterwards! If ever referred to another endodontist, I'll definitely return here!"

"Excellent service at the desk, first class work by Dr. Powell (Endodontist) and great treatment by McKenna (Assistant). The request was urgent on a Thursday due to very painful abscess and they were able to fit me in their schedule on a Friday. I would have been out of my mind with pain if I had to wait until the following Monday to have the root canal. Kudos!"

"I just have to say that this practice is one-of-a-kind. Not that I would like to become a frequent patient/customer, but I highly recommend Brookwood Endodontics.The story: I had been having pain all week but it all came to a head on Friday morning. I spoke with my dentist and called Brookwood Endodontics. They were prompt to respond and managed to schedule an appointment for me that afternoon. The communication was top-notch as I went back-and-forth with their office to provide insurance details, etc.Dr. Powell and Vanessa were the dynamic duo that took care of me. I cannot say enough about how great these two were. As a bonus, I received a call the very next morning (Saturday) to see how I was doing and to just check on me (I forget the name of the person that called me. I apologize!)Again, highly recommended."

"I was a little nervous because I heard that root canals are painful. Dr. Powell made the experience quick and painless. He gave me a prescription for pain medication but I was surprised to find that didn't need anything, not even over-the-counter pain medication! The staff was great. I even received a call the next day, which was a Saturday, to make sure I wasn't having any pain or problems. I would definitely recommend Brookwood Endodontics and Dr. Powell."
"I went to the Tuscaloosa (Rice Mine Road) location for the first time on Thursday, 11 August 2022. I was very pleased with the friendliness of Dr. Powell and his assistant Kori, as well as all other staff that I met. I was very impressed with the professional and efficient manner in which Dr.Powell and Kori worked together during the procedure. "I had an appointment on yesterday, 2/22/2022, and let me just say Tuscaloosa's Brookwood Endondontics was too, too, too, too good! The staff was amazing. My assistant was Kori, and she was so friendly and calming spirit helped me during my procedure. Dr. Powel was the same. They were quick, and had amazing team work. They followed up the next day as promised to check on me and my pain level. So to Dr. Powell and tech Kori, thank you, thank you thank you for making my visit easy and welcoming. I can not forget about Haley, who assisted in my X-Rays, Thank you as well.Can not think of anything negative, but only tip would be to bring a blanket. It is super cold, lol. Be prepared like I was and have a blanket in the car."

The 2nd tech, I didn't get her name, but she was very sweet and knowledgeable on what should I should and should not do after the procedure. Oh yea, can’t forget about the amazing views from the room!! The team made me feel extremely comfortable throughout my whole experience due to me having anxiety. I will be visiting again if there’s another procedure that needs to be done sometime in the future."

"Loved every staff member I had the pleasure of meeting! My dental assistant Kayla was so sweet, comforting, informative, and diligent in getting answers to any questions I had. I didn’t have very much interaction with Dr Powell himself other than him doing the work I needed done. But still seemed very nice and would have felt comfortable asking him any further questions I had. Beth, at the front desk was also very attentive and friendly. They all seem to really care and I couldn’t have asked for a better endodontist office to be referred to! Friendly and caring staff. Minimal waiting period. "Lauren helped to comfort my anxiety by walking me through each step of my treatment, from xray to checkout. When she offered me a blanket and pillow, I was pleasantly surprised that they weren't the run of the mill hospital grade ones, but looked and felt like the luxury and comfort of home. It may sound simple, but it made all the difference for me, and really helped me relax. Dr. Powell was thorough and knowledgeable, so I felt confident in his ability. Lauren kept me posted on the progress, and her gentle tap on my shoulder got me through to the end. I would definitely recommend their office to others."

"I’m not sure anyone expects to leave happy after a dental procedure or dental evaluation, but I did. I know what you’re thinking - she was probably given the “happy gas”. Actually, I wasn’t.I called on a Friday morning with horrible pain a week after having oral surgery (performed by another office). The office staff was able to fit me in on an already booked day. I waited no more than 15 minutes before being called back. Tara immediately noticed I was in pain and scared. She talked to me for a few minutes, asked me several questions, then took an X-Ray. Dr. Powell, who is kind and funny, appeared and informed me that I didn’t need a root canal - just some additional healing time. Dr. Powell and Tara also helped replace the medication, for a dry socket, on my tooth, that had worn away.The office staff was kind, showed empathy and caring as well and extremely trustworthy. Birmingham Endodontics has found a way to create a safe and caring environment, which in my experience, is hard to come by."

"Dr Powell and Bailey made this procedure just like a walk in the park! They made you feel at ease took time to answer all questions and very informative! Made you feel like you are a family member, and most of all you know sometimes you worry about paying for the procedure afterwards, I honestly felt as is this was money very well spent, and the lady upfront said I am going to call you in the morning to check on you! How often do you get that treatment !! This was my first root canal, and you have heard horror stories about them but this was by far a myth when it comes to this team!! I would defiantly go back. I didn’t have to have the laughing gas for this procedure which made this process even better!!!"

"I honestly could not have picked a better dentist! Such a caring and devoted person. Dr. Powell did not treat me as if I was just another customer, but he actually reached out and asked me how my husband was doing and how life was. He did 3 root canals for me and walked me through the entire process beforehand and answered every question I had. The wait time was short and it was a clean and fun environment. They worked with me on payment plans and costs and checked in with me to make sure everything was going alright. It was clear that I made the right decision in coming here!"
