Dr. Adam Powell, a native of Dothan, AL, earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He went on to complete a one-year general dentistry residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Birmingham, then returned to UAB to finish a two-year residency in dndodontics, where he received advanced specialty training.
Outside of the office, Dr. Powell enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Cara, and their four children. He is actively involved in coaching youth soccer, baseball, basketball, and football, and he also loves staying active through running, working out, and waterskiing. In addition, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and time outdoors. Dr. Powell and his family are members of the Church of the Highlands.
Everyone was so nice and most of all I really enjoyed the blanket they gave me I was warm. Everything was great I appreciate the doctor and the nurses May God continue to bless Dr Powell and his crew.
The staff is very friendly. Dr. Powell is thorough. I loved how they cared for every detail, even down to checking out. I appreciate them!
From the moment I walked into the office, it was a pleasant experience. Everyone was kind and I did not have to wait. I was dreading my root canal, but Grace and Abbey helped calm my nerves. Dr Powell was friendly and very professional. If I ever have another procedure. Brookwood Endodontics is where I will go and I hope it is Dr Powell again .
