Dr. Stephen Thomas, a native of Jackson, TN, began his education at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa for his undergraduate studies before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he completed a one-year general practice residency at the University of Alabama Hospital, gaining valuable clinical experience. He then went on to earn his postgraduate degree in endodontics from the University of Alabama, where he received advanced, specialized training in the field.
Dr. Thomas maintains active involvement in several professional and community organizations, reflecting his dedication to both dentistry and service.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Thomas enjoys quality time with his wife, Shannon, and their four children — McKenzie, Reese, Kate, and Stephen Jr. He is passionate about staying active through exercise and golf, and he and his family also love spending time together at the lake. Dr. Thomas and his family are members of the Church of the Highlands.
The staff are great. Dr. Thomas is very personable and professional. He gave me information that will help me make the right decision for my treatment. His assistant, Sam, was great too. I will continue to use Dr. Thomas in the future.
I was referred to Brookwood Endo by my dentist on Thursday, and they were able to see me the following Tuesday, which was great because I had a trip planned to the coast that weekend. Taylor was friendly and caring getting me comfortable before and during the procedure, and Dr. Thomas was wonderful; he quickly reviewed my x-rays, diagnosed my problem, and provided me options in a plain and understandable way. He performed my root canal quickly with very minimal discomfort, and I was able to enjoy my trip with no pain or after effects.
