I was nervous about coming in for a root canal. I've always heard "root canals hurt", and even before my visit my co-workers were saying "that is going to hurt, we'll see you in a few days.". About 10 minutes into the procedure, I realized that I wasn't going to feel a thing!!! Even now as I write this (2 days later), I don't need the pain medication that was prescribed, pain free! I was very impressed with my experience and I encourage anyone that needs a root canal to come here. The atmosphere of the waiting area is nice, and relaxed. When I was called to the back I met my dental assistant "Lauren". Lauren was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very attentive. She did a great job with the x-rays, keeping me up to date with what they were doing, and answering my questions (even the stupid ones). I was really impressed with the fact that Lauren stayed with me (or was working on my stuff) throughout my entire visit (as far as I know, she only worked on my stuff). The best way to describe this is: I felt serverd vs feeling like I was having a procedure. It was awesome! To top off the experience the Dentist was awesome, he came in and the first thing he did was explained my issue and the game plan. He then started the anesthesia, then left to let it take effect. When he returned, we had a few laughs then he got to work. The procedure took about 45 minutes, and I didn't feel a thing. When he was done, he expressed his concern for me to quickly schedule a follow up visit with my dentist. He then left to do great work with another patient. Lauren then finished up, putting a temporary filling in and taking a final x-ray. She was able to take my payment right there, next thing I know it is time to leave and I was able to collect my prescription onsite (very easy). The experience was the complete opposite of what I was expecting and I'm looking forward to the next time I have a "Hey y'all watch this...." moment, that will send me back for another procedure. I would like to thank everyone that works there, you all did a FANTASTIC job.
